Terms of Service
Last updated: September 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Let's Get Launched ("we", "us", "our"), a business located in British Columbia, Canada. By using letsgetlaunched.com, signing up for an account, or purchasing any of our plans, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
We design and build Shopify stores for businesses, and maintain them through monthly care plans. A build includes a custom or customized Shopify theme, importing your products, setting up tax collection, shipping, payments and store pages in your Shopify account, and the number of preview revision rounds stated for your plan. Care plans include the monthly work described on our pricing page (such as adding products and making edits). Anything outside those descriptions is quoted separately.
1a. Your Shopify Account
Your store runs on your own Shopify account, in your name. Your Shopify subscription, apps you choose to install, and Shopify's transaction fees are billed to you directly by Shopify and are not part of our fees. You give us staff or collaborator access so we can do the work, and you can remove that access at any time. Shopify Inc. is a separate company; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. You are responsible for your account credentials and everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Plans, Fees & Billing
- Build fee: a one-time charge for building your store, billed at checkout.
- Care plan: a recurring fee billed monthly (or yearly) in advance until cancelled.
- Yearly care plans: billed yearly in advance; non-refundable after the first 14 days.
- Extras: products over your plan's limit and add-ons (such as a bilingual store, logo or photo clean-up) are invoiced separately at the prices on our website, after we confirm them with you.
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise, and exclusive of applicable taxes (GST/PST/HST).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
- Failed care plan payments pause care work after 7 days' notice. Your store itself keeps running on Shopify.
4. Refunds
Preview guarantee: before we install anything in Shopify, we send you a clickable preview of your store. If you are not happy with it after the revision rounds included in your plan, tell us before approving it and we will refund your build fee in full. Once you approve the preview and we install the store, the build fee is non-refundable.
Care plans: if you cancel within 14 days of your first care payment, we refund that payment. After that, care fees are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future charges.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your care plan by emailing letsgetlaunched26@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your store stays live in your Shopify account; we simply stop making changes and you may remove our staff access. Preview files we host for you are deleted 30 days after cancellation.
6. Your Content
You keep ownership of everything you upload (text, photos, logos, etc.). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, display, and modify that content solely to provide the Service. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
7. Our Work
Once your build fee is paid, you receive a perpetual, non-transferable license to use the theme we built for you on your store, including after you cancel a care plan, and to have it edited by anyone you choose. You may not resell or redistribute the theme itself. Our underlying templates, tools and processes remain our property.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service, or have us build a store, to:
- Publish anything illegal, defamatory, hateful, or infringing.
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam.
- Sell regulated goods where doing so is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to break the Service or the portal.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
9. Hosting & Support
Your store is hosted by Shopify, and its uptime is governed by Shopify's terms. Store previews are hosted by us on Netlify. Support is provided by email during normal business hours (Pacific Time, Monday to Friday).
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third parties (Shopify, Stripe, Netlify, Resend, NocoDB, Google, and others). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Let's Get Launched will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
